Another week, another shuffling of my rankings. The Cats had an opportunity to shoot towards the top, but instead the Mountaineers remain undefeated, and will remain toward the top of my rankings until that changes. Both undefeated teams showed major weaknesses this weekend, Texas can't seem to find their defense, and OU bounced back from early struggles. It's gonna continue to be a crazy season, and the Cats still have an opportunity to be a big part of that craziness.
I didn't want to do this again this week. It was a road loss for the Cats, but that doesn't change what I thought of WVU. Baylor is below OU only because of their poor showing in Ames. Tech lost their starter, but didn't miss a beat against KU's defense, but let's face it, the player's were in a hurry to get back to "Late Night." Texas can score TDs, but they have a heckuva time with the PATs. It's still going to be a wild ride. I don't see a single team that looks like it's has what it takes to go 9-0 this season.
2 undefeated teams in the Big 12, and neither is #1 in my book. Between the 2 of them I give WV a slight edge, because almost losing to Iowa State doesn't earn you a lot of  points - sorry Baylor Criminals! The Cats are better than they showed last Saturday, but you are what your record says you are... which is enough for the top of the lower half.
